The Opener — Your Story
0–3 min
Before You Start Don't open with the presentation. Ask about their operation first. Let them talk. You'll know which crop to focus on.
Opening Question — Pick One
  • "How's the season going so far?"
  • "What crop are you most focused on right now?"
  • "What's your biggest headache with inputs this year?"
Listen fully. Don't jump in. Let them finish completely.
Your Story — 60 Seconds Max "I farmed for many years before I ever used any of this. I had a program that worked and wasn't looking to change it. Someone put these products in front of me and I tried them on my own ground. What I saw 35 years ago, made me a distributor today." "I'm not here to replace your program. I just want to show you what I saw on my own farm — and what I've seen on the farms I've worked with since."
⚠ Watch Out Don't mention N reduction percentages yet. Save those for after they understand the mechanism. Leading with numbers before the story sounds like a sales pitch.
2
The Hook — One Simple Idea
3–7 min
The One Idea "The soil already has a system for producing nitrogen — bacteria that fix it straight out of the air. For free. Every month through the growing season." "Modern farming — fumigation, salt-heavy fertilizers, tillage — kills those bacteria off. We fill the gap by buying more nitrogen. Every year."
Check-In Question
  • "Does that match what you've been seeing — inputs going up but not getting more out?"
  • "Have you ever pulled a soil sample and been surprised by how low the biology was?"
Wait for their answer. This is where they connect the dots themselves.
The Payoff Line "What we do is rebuild that biological system. Not replace your fertilizer — reduce your reliance on it. And the biology compounds. Year one you see one thing. Year three you're running a completely different operation."
⚠ The Science Trap If they ask how it works: "Three organisms. Fix nitrogen, suppress disease, increase root density. I'll show you in a minute." Don't go deeper. Keep moving.

Show the Presentation
7–20 min
Pull Up the iPad Now Walk through each page briefly. Don't read cards out loud — point and add one sentence. Let them read. Let them react.
Page 1 — One Line Per Problem Card
  • Diminishing returns: "This is the cycle most operations are stuck in."
  • Rising costs: "Every pound of N you buy has no residual value in the soil."
  • Biology gap: "This is the biggest lever — and most people don't think about it."
Key Question After Page 1 "Which of these is closest to what you're dealing with right now?" Costs → ROI numbers. Biology → go deeper on N-Fix. Diminishing returns → the timeline.
Page 2 — One Sentence Per Product
  • N-Fix: "35x normal bacteria. Fix nitrogen from the air every month. Same organisms suppress Phytophthora."
  • Aqua-10: "Kelp hormones that signal roots to grow. More roots = more surface area to absorb what N-Fix is fixing."
  • Kelp-Gro: "Makes the plant more efficient with the nitrogen it absorbs. Same growth, lower rate."
Key Question After Page 2 "What would 20% less nitrogen spend look like for your operation per season?" Let them do the math out loud. It lands harder when they say the number themselves.
⚠ Science Trap — Again If they want to go deep on how the biology works: "I can send you the technical data sheet." Then move on.

Their Crop — Make It Specific
20–24 min
Go Straight to Their Crop on Page 3 Don't walk through all four crop cards. Jump directly to theirs. Everything else is noise at this point.
🍓 Strawberries "Fumigation wipes out every organism in the soil — you're starting from zero biology every season. N-Fix re-establishes that population in weeks. Aqua-10 at transplanting is where growers see the most immediate difference — faster establishment, more uniform stands, better Brix at first harvest."
🥑 Avocados "Avocado roots have no root hairs. They're completely dependent on soil biology to move nutrients. A biologically dead root zone is a huge yield limiter — most growers don't know it. We're running trials right now in Ventura County. Early results are exactly what we expected from strawberry."
🥦 Vegetables "Fast cycles mean you're resetting the biology multiple times a year. N-Fix applied consistently across plantings builds a population that carries through. Stand uniformity is usually the first thing growers notice — tighter, faster canopy development."
🍊 Valencia Oranges "Valencia is one of the most demanding nitrogen situations in California — sizing this year's crop and setting next year's flowers at the same time. Kelp-Gro's efficiency benefit is huge here — you maintain canopy color and fruit quality at meaningfully lower applied rates."
Closing Crop Question "What's your biggest challenge with this crop right now — inputs, yield, quality, or disease pressure?" Their answer is your bridge to the close. Match it directly to a product benefit.

Handling Objections
Anytime
Ground Rule — Never Argue Validate first, always. "That's a fair question." Never say "but" — say "and what I've found is..."
"It costs more per unit than my current fertilizer."
"The answer isn't in unit cost — it's in total spend per acre per season. A 20% reduction on 100 acres at $500/ton is real money every year. The biology program costs a fraction of that." Key line: "The comparison is your total input cost this year vs. three years from now."
"My program works. Why would I change it?"
"I thought the same thing. For 25 years. I'm not asking you to change — I'm asking you to add to it. If the crop doesn't respond in 90 days, you stop." Key line: "That's exactly how I started. I didn't change a thing. I added biology and watched what happened."
"Will my yields drop during the transition?"
"In Year 1 you don't reduce anything. Biology goes in on top of your full program. I've never seen a yield drop in Year 1 — the design prevents it." Key line: "We don't touch your N rates until tissue tests show the biology is carrying the load. You're in control."
"Does this actually work at commercial scale?"
"It worked on my own farm first. I didn't become a distributor from a brochure. Organic strawberry blocks on the Oxnard Plain, vegetable operations in Ventura and Santa Barbara — real commercial operations." Key line: "The 20–50% reductions I talk about — I've seen them. On real farms. Including mine."
"I need to think about it / talk to my PCA."
"Absolutely — loop in your PCA. The program layers on top of whatever you're already on. Nothing here conflicts with a standard PCA program." "Can I send you the data sheets so you both have the same information?" Key line: "What would you need to see to feel comfortable trying it on one block for a season?"
6
The Close — One Small Ask
24–30 min
Rule — One Block, One Season Only The goal is not a sale — it's a trial. Don't ask for a full program commitment.
The Close — Pick One
  • "Would you be open to trying N-Fix on one block this season — alongside everything you're already doing?"
  • "What would it take to run a small trial on your worst-performing block?"
  • "Can I put together a starting program and send it over this week?"
If They Say Yes — Get These Before You Leave
  • Acreage and irrigation setup
  • What they're currently running for N
  • A specific follow-up date — 30 or 60 days
  • Their email for data sheets and program recommendation
If They Say Not Yet "Totally fine. Can I send you the product data sheets? That way when you're ready, you've already got the information." Get the email. That's the win if they don't commit today.
Parting Line — Always End With This "I'm not going anywhere. I farmed in this county for 25 years. If you ever have a question about inputs, soil, or just want another set of eyes on something — call me. That's what I'm here for."
⚠ Don't Fill the Silence Once you've asked for the next step — stop talking. The first person to speak after the close is asking the other person to decide.
